Mushroom Kuruma Recipe

I used to buy mushroom atleast once a week. Mostly I used to make either mushroom fry or mushroom masala. But this time for a change. I tried  white color mushroom kuruma.In this recipe, no chilli powder, turmeric powder is added and they are replaced with green chillies which had a different flavour. This is one another simple recipe that can be served as a side for flavoured rice or along with roti or chappati.

Preparation Time : 10 Minutes
Cooking Time : 20 Minutes
Serves : 2

Ingredients

Mushroom 200 Grams
Onion 1 No
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Teaspoon
Cinnamon 1 Smal Stick
Black Stone Flower 1 No
Bay Leaves 1 No
Fennel Seeds 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 Teaspoon

To Grind

Coconut 1 Tablespoon (Grated)
Green Chillies 2 Nos
Poppy Seeds 1 Teaspoon
Cashew 5 Nos
Fennel Seeds 1/2 Teaspoon

Preparation Method
Grind the ingredients specified under “ To Grind” table and keep it aside. Wash the mushroom and cut into medium sized pieces and keep it ready. Heat a pan and add oil. Once it is hot, add bay leaves, cinnamon,black stone flower and fennel seeds. Add ginger garlic and saute well.
Mushroom Kuruma Recipe Step 1
Add chopped onion and fry till turns translucent. Add chopped mushroom and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the ground paste and required water. Add required salt and bring it to boil and cook for 5 minutes and turn off the flame. Serve hot with roti or flavoured rice.
