Tomato Thokku Recipe

Tomato Thokku Preparation

This version of Tomato thokku recipe is from my mom. She used to make it quite often and insisted me to try it once. But I kept postponing. During my last visit to India, I tasted this at home and liked it very much. Moreover this thokku stays good for almost a week and it goes well with roti and as a side for curd rice, sambar rice and dhal. Recently we went on a four days road trip and I packed some food for us. This tomato thokku is one among those and I am happy that it stayed fresh till we are back from our trip even without keeping it inside the fridge. So thought of posting it here and made it again soon after we are back and clicked pictures. Enjoy this mouthwatering thokku with idly, dosa, rotis.
