Paneer Capsicum Curry Recipe
Paneer capsicum masala is one of our favorite gravies and I make it quite frequently along with either roti or flavored rice. Adding multicolor capsicum makes the gravy more colorful.  Paneer and capsicum combo always goes well. Fresh green peas can also be added to this masala.
Paneer Masala Recipe
Paneer Capsicum gravy Recipe Preparation Time : 15 Minutes
Cooking Time : 20 Minutes
Serves : 3- 4
Paneer 100 Grams
Capsicum (Mixed Colors) 1 Cup (Chopped)
Onion 1 No (Chopped)
Tomato 1 No (Chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Chilli Powder 1 Teaspoon
Garam Masala 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 Teaspoon
Ghee 1 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves little (Chopped)
To Temper
Cinnamon 1 Stick
Cardamom 2 Nos
Cloves 2 Nos

To Grind
Poppy Seeds 1 Teaspoon
Cashew Nuts 4 Nos
Kasthuri Methi 1/2 Tablespoon
Fennel Seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Cumin Seeds 1/2 Teaspoon

Preparation Method

Cut the paneer into medium sized cubes and fry them slightly by adding little ghee/ butter.
Keep the fried paneer cubes aside. Grind the ingredients mentioned under “ To Grind” table to a fine paste and keep it ready.

In a tawa add ghee and oil. Once it is hot, add onion and saute for a minute. Then slightly crush the ingredients specified under “ To Temper” table. Add it to the onions and saute for few seconds.
Add Ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes off. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes mushy.

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and mix well. Then add the chopped capsicum and cook for 2 minutes.

Add water to required consistency and bring it to boil. When it starts to boil, add the ground paste and cook for 2 minutes. Then add the fried paneer cubes and cook.
Paneer Capsicum Masala Recipe Step 4
Let it cook for 3 – 5 minutes. Then add garam masala, give it a mix and turn off the flame. Finally garnish it with chopepd coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
