Cashew Nut Pakoda Recipe | Cashew Fritters Recipe

Cashew Nut Pakoda Recipe

After couple of weeks, I am here with tasty cashew nut pakoda recipe(Munthiri Paruppu Pakoda). This is really simple to prepare and can best fit in as starter recipes or snack recipes. Cashew Pakoda recipe is more similar to the usual onion Pakoda except that onion is replaced with cashew nuts. Moreover adding fresh mint leaves to this pakoda gives an extra flavour to it. Though I hesitated to prepare this recipe as it might require more cashews and makes me feel guilt thinking from calories perspective. But still convinced myself that its fine to try once in a while. Unlike the other pakodas which I will prepare in bulk, I restricted to a small quantity with this recipe. It turned out really superb and was very crispy and will definitely be a good one for those who love cashews.

Notes

Adding hot oil to the flour, makes the pakoda more crsipy. So do not skip it.

Mint leaves can be repplaced with curry leaves, if you don’t like mint flavour.

Do not fry the pakodas in high flame. Make sure the flame is in medium through out the frying process.

Serve this pakodas after 10 – 15 minutes so that it becomes crispier.
