Omelette Recipe | Egg Recipes

Eggs will always be in my weekly shopping list. It helps me to finish off my cooking whenever I am in a hurry. Either be it omelette or bhurji, makes a meal complete for us. Sometimes I would like to have just omelette as snack. Recently I came across a tip wherein adding a teaspoon of milk to the egg makes the omelette soft and fluffy. So thought of giving it a try and I really liked it. I would love to add shallots instead of the usual onions which increases the taste.
Ingredients
Egg 1 No
Milk 1.5 Teaspoons
Shallots 3 –5 Nos (Finely Chopped)
Green Chillies 1 No
Pepper Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 Teaspoon



Preparation Method
  •  Break the egg and pour it in a bowl, Add milk and beat well till it becomes frothy.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt and again beat for few seconds.

  • Heat a tawa and add oil, Once  it is hot, add the chopped onion, green chillies and saute well.
  • Slowly pour the egg in a circular motion.
  • Drizzle some oil around it.

  • Sprinkle some pepper powder on the top.
  • Wait for the one side to get cooked. Now flip it to the other side and wait till it gets cooked.
  • Serve hot.
