Sweet Potato Tikki Recipe / Snack Recipes

DSC_0006
When I went for vegetables shopping last weekend, I saw sweet potatoes. By looking at its pink colour, I was tempted to grab a small bag of it. But did not use it the whole week, as I never tried not tasted sweet potatoes. All I have heard of is to simply boil and eat as it already has sweet taste. That didn’t sound interesting to me and I kept postponing thinking of what to make with it. One evening my hubby asked me to make cutlet. For a change I prepared tikki with sweet potatoes instead of the usual potatoes. I did not use breadcrumbs and replaced it with fine semolina. The tikki turned out to be crispy with mild sweetness as I added little masala to it. On the whole, its just a mixture of sweet and spiciness. I still have couple of sweet potatoes left and hoping to try few other recipes with them.
