Ravai Paniyaaram Recipe | Easy Snack Recipe

Ravai Paniyaaram is one of the traditional recipes. I will go for it when I don’t feel like spending much time on the kitchen. This is the best evening snack that can be prepared in less than 30 minutes without compromising on the taste. Moreover all the ingredients are the ones that are usually available at our home.

Here is the recipe!!
Rava/ Sooji/ Semolina 1 Cup
All Purpose Flour 1.5 Cups
Sugar 1 Cup
Salt A Pinch
Oil For frying

Preparation Method
  • Measure rava and all purpose flour and mix together by adding a pinch of salt.
  • Add sugar and mix well. Start adding water little by little and wait till the sugar melts.
  • After the sugar has melted, add little more water only if required. Make sure the consistency of the batter is not too thin.
  • Heat a tawa with oil enough for frying.
  • Once the oil is hot, take a laddle full of batter and slowly pour into the hot oil. Keep the flame I medium throughout the cooking.
  • Wait till the first one rises up. Then pour the second one so that they don’t stick with each other.
  • Cook till both sides turns into nice golden colour.
  • Drain the oil and transfer it to a plate for serving.
