Vazhaikai Poriyal Recipe | Raw Banana Poriyal

Here is a quick and tasty vazhaikai poriyal




Ingredients
Raw Banana 2 Nos
Mustard 1 Teaspoon
Urad Dhal 1 Teaspoon
Curry Leaves A Strig
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Chilli Powder 1 Teaspoon
Coriander Powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 2 Teaspoons

Preparation Method
  • Peel the skin of the raw banana and cut them into pieces and add them in a bowl containing water.
  • Heat a pan and add oil. Once it is hot, add mustard and wait till it splutters.
  • Add urad dhal, curry leaves and fry for couple of seconds.
  • Drain the water and add the cut raw banana pieces and mix it well.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.

  • Mix it well and cook for 5 –7 minutes, till the raw banana gets cooked.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and serve.
