Peas Pulav Recipe | Rice Varieties

Peas Pulav Recipe
I tried this simple to cook Peas pulav  Recipe for the first time and the taste was extraordinary. I used fresh green peas rather than the frozen / tinned peas which added extra flavour to this recipe. We had this pulav with Gobi Machurian, Yet another favourite recipe of us. Another day, I made this peas Pulav and packed it for our picnic. Everyone liked it. It also goes well along with some spicy gravy like Potato Curry.

Note

Adjust the water quantity based on the mode of cooking. If you are using pressure cooker 1.5 Cups of water would be sufficient. Add little excess water if you are cooking in a pan.

Do not skip the step of soaking the rice. It will help in cooking the rice well.

While cooking it in pressure cooker, cook the rice in high flame and turn off the flame right after 2 whistles so that the rice will be perfectly cooked.

Do not fry the cumin seeds for long time. If it gets burnt, the taste of the pulav will be changed.
