Rice Pakoda Recipe | Rice Fritters| Snack Recipes

Here is a tasty and crispy recipe with left over rice. Best for tea time snack.

Cooked Rice 1 Cup
Besan flour 1 Cup
Rice Flour 2 Tablespoons
Onion 1/4 Cup (Chopped)
Green Chillies 1 No (Chopped)
Curry Leaves 2 Strigs
Asafoetida A Pinch
Chilli Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Oil For Frying


Preparation Method
  • Mix Besan flour by adding cooked rice, rice flour, chilli powder, asafoetida, salt.
  • Add chopped onion, green chilly, curry leaves and mix well.
  • Add very little water (only if required) and mix it to a very thick consistency.

  • In a pan heat enough oil for frying.
  • Once it is hot, add the mixture in small parts. It need not be in a specified shape.

  • Fry them well, till they change into golden brown colour.
  • Transfer them to a plate by draining the oil completely.
