Prawn Pakoda

An easy and tasty appetizer!


Ingredients

Prawns 15 Nos
Gram flour / Besan 2 Tablespoons
Rice Flour 1/2 Tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Chilli Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Coriander Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Oil For Frying

Preparation Method
  • Clean the prawns and wash it couple of times. Drain the water and keep it ready.
  • In a bowl mix gram flour, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli, coriander powder, salt.
  • Add the prawns to this mixture and mix it well.

  • Marinate the prawn for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a pan and add required oil for frying.
  • When it is hot, drop the marinated prawns one by one.
  • Fry the prawns in batches and cook them till it turns to golden brown colour.

  • Transfer them to a plate after draining the oil completely.
