Potato Masala Sandwich

Here is a very filling, tasty and easy bread sandwich. Best suits for breakfast, evening snack or dinner. I prepared this for dinner last night!


Ingredients

Bread 2 Slices
Potato 2 Nos
Onion 1 No
Coriander leaves / Cilantro A Fistful
Mango Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Cumin Seeds 1/4 Tablespoon
Ginger A Small Piece
Chilli Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Salt To Taste
Ghee / Butter (Optional) As Required

Preparation Method
  • Wash and boil the potatoes. Peel off the skin and mash them well.
  • To the mashed potatoes, add chopped onion, cilantro, chopped ginger, cumin seeds, mango powder, chilli powder, Turmeric powder and salt.
  • Mix everything together and keep it ready

  • Heat a tawa and spread the bread with little ghee or butter and place them on the tawa.
  • After a minute, turn it to the other side and spread the masala on one side of the bread slice.
  • Close it with another bread slice. Turn it back and wait till both the sides become crispy.

  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
