Here is another healthy, nutritious and easy recipe with moong bean.

Greengram 1 Cup
Curry Leaves A Strig
Mustard 1/4 Tablespoon
Red Chillies 2 Nos
Asafoetida A Pinch
Grated Coconut 2 Tablespoons
Salt To Taste
Oil As Required
Preparation Method
  • Wash and Soak the greengram in water for atleast 3 hours.
  • Cook the greengram either in pressure cooker or in a pan.
  • In another pan, add oil. Once it is hot, add mustard, asafoetida, curry leaves, Red chillies and saute them for few seconds.
  • Transfer the tempered items to the cooked greengram. Add salt and mix well.

  • Add grated coconut, mix it well and then transfer it to a serving bowl.
