Coriander Bread Cutlet

Vegetable cutlet is the only recipe I have heard so far. But happened to watch this coriander bread cutlet recipe in one of the TV shows and found it interesting. Moreover, the preparation method seems to be really simple. Since I do not want to deep fry, I did shallow frying. It was very unique and yummy.


Ingredients

Coriander leaves/ Cilantro A Fistful
Onion 1 No
Green Chillies 2 Nos
Garlic 5 Pods
Grated Coconut 2 Tablespoons
Plain Bread Crumbs 1 Cup
Salt To Taste
Oil As required

Preparation Method
  • Grind onion, cilantro, green chillies, garlic and coconut to a fine paste.

  •   Add salt, add bread crumbs and mix everything together to a smooth dough.

  • Make equal size balls and press to form a flattened round patties them without any cracks.
  • Heat a tawa and add oil. Once it is hot, add the patties one after the other to the tawa.

  • When one of the sides get cooked, turn back to the other side and fry them till it changes its colour.
  • Finally transfer to the plate and serve with sauce or chutney of your choice.
