Stuffed Bhindi | Ladiesfinger Fry



LadiesFinger 10 – 15 Nos
Onion 1 No
Fennel Seeds 1/4 Tablespoons
Poppy Seeds 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Chilli Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Coriander Powder 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 2 Tablespoons


Preparation Method
  • Wash the ladiesfinger and drain the water completely.
  • Wipe it with paper towel/cloth to remove the water completely.

  • Cut the top and bottom portion of the ladiesfinger and make a deep slit (lengthwise) in the middle.

  • Grind onion, Fennel seeds, poppy seeds to a fine past by adding little water.

  • Heat a pan add a tablespoon of oil and add the ground mixture and fry them well.
  • After 2 minutes, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well for 3 minutes, till the raw smell goes off.

  • Once done, allow the masala to cool down.
  • Stuff the masala into the cut portion of the ladiesfinger.

  • Heat a tawa and add a tablespoon of oil.
  • Once it is hot, add the stuffed ladiesfinger and fry them till it is cooked well.

  • Once it is done, transfer to the plate for serving.
