Spinach Poriyal | Keerai Poriyal


Here is the quick and easy recipe!


Spinach 1 Bunch
Red Chillies 2 Nos
Onion 1 No (Finely Chopped)
Mustard 1/4 Tablespoon
Cumin 1/2 Tablespoon
Grated coconut 2 Tablespoons
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  • Wash the spinach thoroughly and chop them into fine pieces.
  • Heat a pan and add oil. Once it gets hot, add mustard and very little cumin seeds.
  • Allow it to splutter and then add red chillies and onion and saute them for 2 minutes.

  • Then add the chopped spinach and cook till the water evaporates completely.

  • Add salt. Finally add the ground coconut mixture to the spinach and turn off the flame.
