Simple Egg Omlette


Omelet is the best and the quick recipe which I prepare, whenever I run out of time. It goes well along with rice, Bread and it can even be rolled along with Roti. It’s a filling diet.


Eggs 3 Nos
Onion 1 No (Finely Chopped)
Green Chillies 2 Nos (Finely Chopped)
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Pepper Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 2 Tablespoons


Preparation Method
  • Heat a pan and add a tablespoon of oil. Once it is hot add green chillies.
  • After few seconds, add the chopped onions and saute them well.

  • Add Turmeric Powder and mix well. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  • In a bowl break open 3 eggs.

  • Add a pinch of salt and beat the eggs well.
  • Add the cooked onions and greenchillies to the egg.

  • Mix the egg well. Heat a dosa tawa and grease it with few drops of oil.
  • Once it is hot pour the egg by using a laddle.

  • Sprinkle some pepper powder on the poured egg.
  • Once it is cooked, turn it to the other side.
  • Wait for few seconds and transfer it to the plate for serving.
