Onion Rings–South Indian Style


Best tea time snack recipe..


Besan flour 1/2 cup
Rice flour 2 Tablespoons
Chilli Powder 1/4 Tablespoon
Asafoetida A Pinch
Onion 1 No
Salt To Taste
Oil For Frying

Preparation Method
  • Mix besan flour, rice flour, chilli powder, salt, asafoetida together.

  • Add water and mix well to a little thick consistency.

  • Cut the onion into slices and separate the layers (rings) in each of the slices and keep it ready.
  • Dip the onion rings into the mixture.

  • Meanwhile heat the oil in a pan and add the onion bhajji into the oil.
  • Fry them till it turns to the golden brown.
