Mint Chapathi Recipe

Though I am not a big fan of chapati,  off late I started trying different varieties of Rotis and quite impressed with the taste of those recipes. So I Started making these types of chapati’s atleast once or twice a week. Last night I prepared Mint chapati for dinner and we had it with Babycorn subji.


Wheat flour 1 Cup
Mint leaves 1/4 Cup
Green Chillies 2 Nos
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 Tablespoon


Mint Roti Pudhina Roti

Preparation Method

  • Grind the mint leaves and green chillies to a fine paste.
  • In a bowl, mix wheat flour with required salt and add the ground paste to it.
  • Knead the flour to a soft consistency by adding water. Let it remain for 30 minutes.

  • Split the dough into equal sized balls.

  • Press it using a rolling pin to a desired shape. I have made it in square shape.

  • Heat a tawa and once it is hot, add the chapati and cook well on both the sides by adding few drops of oil  around the chapati,

  • Transfer it to a plate and serve.
