Cheese Paratha


This recipe is relatively simple. Its just like an ordinary paratha except for stuffing it with cheese and rolling it again.It goes well with any types of kuruma.

Here is how I made it..


Wheat Flour 1 Cup
Cheese 1/2 Cup (Grated)
Salt To Taste
Oil 1/2 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  • Take a cup of wheat flour, add salt and mix it well.
  • Knead the flour by adding enough water till the dough becomes soft.
  • Close the container and leave it aside for atleast 30 minutes before making paratha.
  • After 30 minutes, knead the dough again for couple of minutes and split them into equal sized balls.
  • Press the balls to a flat circle using the rolling pin after dusting it with little wheat flour.

  • Place the grated cheese in the centre of the paratha, close it carefully and again press it gently using the rolling pin.

  • Heat a tawa, transfer the stuffed paratha and add sprinkle some oil.
  • Wait for a minute and turn it to the other side for it to get cooked.
  • Finally transfer it to a plate.
  • It can be served either as a whole or it can be cut into 4 pieces.
