Carrot Cheese Roll

My mom came across this recipe in one of the TV shows and asked me try it out. I Customized it according to our taste.This roll can be prepared very quickly and with minimal number of ingredients.
Here is the recipe…


Ingredients

Bread Slices 6 Nos
Carrot 1/4 Cup (Grated)
Cheese 1/4 Cup (Grated)
Green Chillies (Optional) 1 No (Finely Chopped)
Cumin Seeds (Optional) 1/4 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Olive Oil 1/4 Tablespoon
Ghee 1/2 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  • Mix carrot, cheese (I used Mozzarella), Green Chillies, Cumin Seeds, Salt with little olive oil.
  • Take the bread slices and cut the 4 sides.
  • Press the bread smoothly using a rolling pin.

  • Place a small quantity of carrot cheese mixture on top of the bread.

  • Roll it tightly, but do not apply too much of pressure. Because the stuffing may come out.
  • Heat a tawa and grease it with 1/2 tablespoon of ghee.
  • Once it is hot, place the stuffed rolls in the tawa.

  • Turn it to all the sides and cook till it turns to light brown colour.
  • Now transfer them to a plate and serve with tomato Ketchup.
