Babycorn Capsicum stir fry


Babycorn capsicum poriyal

Instead of cooking just babycorn, I thought of adding few other vegetables to the poriyal. My choice was capsicum and potato. The taste was great and we had it with sambar rice.

Ingredients

Babycorn 100 Grams
Capsicum 1 No
Potato 1 No
Onion 1 No
Mustard 1/4 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Chilli Powder 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  1. Wash all the vegetables and cut them into small pieces.
  2. Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Once it is hot, add mustard and wait till it splutters.
  3. Then add onion and saute them well for 2 minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, then add all the vegetables and mix them well.
  5. Cook for 5 –7 minutes.
  6. Add chilli powder and salt. Mix them well, cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Transfer it to serving bowl.
