Wheat Noodles

Just for a change from the usual south Indian dishes, I tried wheat noodles. It did come out well and I like having it once in a while.

Noodles 1 Small Packet
Carrot 1 No (Cut into thin pieces)
Cabbage 50 Grams (Cut into fine pieces)
Capsicum 50 Grams (Cut into fine pieces)
Spring Onion 3 Nos
Pepper Powder 1 Tablespoon
Tomato Sauce 1/2 Tablespoon
Soya Sauce 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Olive Oil 1 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  1. Boil a cut of water by adding salt. Add the noodles to the boiling water, close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain the excess water completely. Immediately wash the noodles with cold water and drain it again.
  3. Sprinkle some oil on top of the noodles and mix well. This will prevent the noodles from sticking on to each other.
  4. Heat a pan and add olive oil. Once it is hot, add the white portion(at the bottom) of the spring onions.
  5. Then add carrot, Capsicum and cabbage and saute them well.
  6. After 3  minutes, add pepper powder and then add the noodles.
  7. Add tomato sauce and soya sauce. Mix well and keep it for 2 minutes.
  8. Turn off the flame and garmish with spring onions and serve.
