Sweetcorn–Cup

After a longtime, I prepared sweetcorn last evening. There are days, where I used to have sweetcorns everyday on my way back to home from work. Though I was in a hurry to catch my office bus, the nice smell that comes out while boiling this corn always dragged me to get it. SmileI always like to have it with pepper, instead of chilli powder.

Ingredients
Corn 1 Cup
Turmeric Powder A pinch
Ghee/Butter Very little
Salt To Taste
Pepper Powder 1/4 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  • Wash the corn and transfer it to a pan.
  • Add water sufficient enough to immerse the corns.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt and mix well.

  • Close the pan with the lid and let it remain for 5 –7 minutes.
  • Drain the excess water and transfer it to a bowl.
  • Add ghee/butter and pepper powder, mix well and serve.

  • Pepper can be replaced with chilli powder as well.
