Prawn Briyani

I happened to taste the prawn briyani accidentally. I placed an order for chicken briyani take away. When I opened the box and started eating at home, I realized its prawn briyani. But still I loved the taste and started liking it from that day.But this is the first time I tried this recipe by myself.
Ingredients

Basmati Rice 1 Cup
Prawn 200 Grams
Ginger Garlic paste 1/2 Tablespoon
Mint Leaves A Fistful (Finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves/Cilantro A Fistful (Finely Chopped)
Green Chillies 2 Nos
Chilli Powder 1 Tablespoon
Coriander Powder 1 Tablespoon
Garam Masala 1/4 Tablespoon
Onion 1 Nos (Finely chopped)
Cinnamon 2 sticks
Cardamom 2 Nos
Cloves 3 Nos
Bay Leaves 1 No
Salt To Taste
Oil 4 Tablespoons
Curd 1/4 Cup

Preparation Method
  1. Wash and cook the basmati rice to 80 % by adding a cardamon,cloves and cinnamon and drain the water completely.
  2. In a pan add little oil and fry the onions well and keep it aside.
  3. Wash the prawns and add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. In a pan add few more oil, then add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, bay leaves and add the marinated prawns and shallow fry them.
  5. Transfer the prawns to a plate.
  6. In the same pan, add curd, greenchillies, mint leaves and coriander leaves, garam masala, fried onions,salt and mix them well.
  7. Add the fried prawns and also add the cooked rice on the top.
  8. Sprinkle some coriander and mint on the top and cover it with a lid. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
  9. After 5 minutes, mix them gently and serve it hot
