Pasta - south Indian style

Pasta in southindian style
First time in my life I cooked pasta. So far I did not get a chance to taste the pasta. Anyways, I prepared the pasta in my own south Indian style and the taste was too good. Yet to explore different varieties of pasta. I will post it as and when I prepare those.
Pasta 1 Cup
Onion 1 Medium Sized (Finely Chopped)
Tomato 1 Small Size (Finely Chopped)
Green Chillies 1 No (Finely Chopped)
Ginger Small Piece (Finely Chopped)
Capsicum 1/4 Cup (Cut into thin pieces)
Cilantro/Coriander leaves A fistful
Cumin Seeds/Jeera 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Chilli Powder 1 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 2 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  1. Boil water in a pan with salt added.
  2. Add the pasta and cook for 7 minutes. Drain the excess water and add few drops of oil to the cooked pasta and mix well.
  3. Heat a pan and add oil. Once it is hot, add the cumin seeds. After it splutter, add green chillies, ginger & onion and saute them well.
  4. After 2 minutes, add tomato and mix well. Add capsicum and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Add turmeric powder, Chilli powder and little more salt.
  6. After a minute, add the cooked pasta and chopped coriander leaves and mix well for 3 minutes.
  7. Transfer it to a serving bowl. Can be served with tomato Ketchup.
