
Dosai is a very common south indian Breakfast recipe. It is one of the favourites for most of them and I am not an exception.
Especially dosa filled with masala tastes even more delicious. There are numerous varieties of dosas and here I have posted the recipe for making mushroom masala dosa.
Ingredients
Dosa Batter | 1 Cup |
Mushroom | 100 Grams (Finely Chopped) |
Onion | 1 No (Finely Chopped) |
Tomato | 1 No (Finely Chopped) |
Turmeric Powder | A Pinch |
Chilli Powder | 1/2 Tablespoon |
Curry Leaves | A Strig |
Pepper Powder | 1/2 Tablespoon |
Cumin Seeds | 1/4 Tablespoon |
Salt | To Taste |
Oil | 2 Tablespoons |

Preparation Method
For Masala
- Wash the mushrooms, drain the water and cut them into very fine pieces.
- Heat the pan and add oil and then add cumin seeds.
- After it splutters, add curry leaves & onion and saute them well.
- Then add tomato and mix them with turmeric powder, chilli powder.
- After 3 minutes, add the chopped mushrooms and cook them for 5 minutes.
- Finally add pepper powder & salt and mix.
- Transfer it to a bowl and keep it aside.
- Heat the dosa tawa and grease it with a drop of oil.
- Pour a laddle of dosa batter and spread it to a thin dosa.
- Add few drops of oil around the dosa and allow it to get cooked till it turns to brown colour.
- Place required amount of mushroom masala at the centre and spread it.
- Fold the dosa and transfer it to plate and serve.

Excellent One to have for morning breakfast...
