Ladiesfinger poriyal

Ladiesfinger is my all time favorite. I love to have it with any rice, especially with curd rice it tastes really good.

Ingredients

Ladiesfinger 250 Grams (Cut into fine pieces)
Onion 1 small (Finely chopped)
Curry leaves A strig
Green Chillies 2 Nos (Cut lengthwise)
Mustard 1/4 Tablespoon
Urad Dhal 1/2 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Salt To taste
Oil 1 Tablespoon

Preparation Method
  1. Wash the ladiesfinger and drain the water completely. Wipe them with a cloth/paper towel before cutting it.
  2. Cut into fine pieces and spread them in a wide plate. Leave it for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan and add oil. Add mustard and urad dhal.
  4. After it splutters, add greenchillies, onion and curry leaves. Saute them well.
  5. After 2 minutes, add turmeric powder and then add the cut ladiesfingers.
  6. Reduce the flame and mix it well. Add enough salt.
  7. Let it get cooked completely for 10 – 15 minutes.
  8. Turn off the plate and transfer to the serving bowl.
