Fish Fry Recipe
I will go for Sea Bream Fish whenever I do not find Tilapia fish. Moreover, I would love to buy the whole fresh fish rather than buying fillets. This time I got a whole Sea Bream fish and cut that into pieces by myself. I like the fish fry when it is sliced up little thin. I prefer the fish to be shallow fried rather than deep frying.The fish fry came out really well and it was very yummy!! It goes well with sambar rice, rasam, dhal and curd rice.

Sea Bream fish 1 No
Turmeric Powder A Pinch
Ginger Garlic Paste 1/4 Tablespoon
Chilli Powder 1/2 Tablespoon
Garam Masala (Optional) 1/4 Teaspoon
Fennel Seeds Powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 – 2 Tablespoons

Preparation Method
Clean the fish thoroughly and cut them into thin slices. Wash the slices again with a pinch of turmeric powder.Drain the water completely.
In a bowl, mix turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, fennel seeds powder, garam masala,salt with oil.Apply this masala on both the sides of the fish slices.
Sea Bream Fry Recipe Step 1
Marinate the fish for atleast 1 hour.After an hour, heat a tawa and add 2 tablespoons of oil.
Once the oil it hot, add the fish slices to the oil and shallow fry them by turning back and forth.Transfer to a plate and serve.

Adding little chopped fresh curry leaves while frying the fish gives a nice flavour
Along with Chilli Powder, black pepper powder can also be added.
Marinate the fish before frying so that the masala will get into the fish.
Initially add just 1 tablespoon of oil. Just drizzle excess oil only if it required. Sometimes it will be done with just a tablespoon of oil.
